Pearl Valley Golf Estates is a Jack Nicklaus-designed, 170-hectare championship golf course (par 72) lying in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Drakenstein Mountains, it is one of the most visually spectacular golf courses in the world – and one of the most challenging in Africa. 

Officially opened in November 2003, Pearl Valley Golf Estates was named ‘Best Golf Course of the Year’ in 2005 and won a PMR Diamond Arrow Award in 2008, achieving the highest rating of any golf course in the Western Cape. In 2007, it announced a three-year deal to host the South African Open Championship, one of the oldest Opens in world golf.

Membership Fees
The current structure of membership comprises two main categories – Leisure and Golf. Each of the categories includes: Family, Spouse, Dependant, or Corporate options. Leisure members currently pay a small fee for a round of golf in addition to their annual fees. Non-members are welcome to play on a ‘pay and play basis. 

Being a member of a Troon managed club also includes access to the Troon Advantage program. Members are invited to take full advantage of very special rates at select, Troon Golf-managed facilities. 

Green Fees
Green fees are dependant based on the time of the year and include a shared golf cart.
